Gloria - Term 4

Week 3 (April 6-10)

Once you feel it's performance ready, you will audio record yourself following the steps below.

(Items needed for recording: headphones, computer, cell phone)

 

1. Set-up cellphone to audio record (voice memo, etc.) yourself.

2. Be ready to play your track from your computer or another source that can use headphones.

3. Now you're ready to record.

4. Press record on your cellphone.

5. Press play on your part track on your computer. WE MUST HEAR THE FIRST CLICK BEFORE YOU PLUG YOUR HEADPHONES IN.

6. Immediately following the first click, plug your headphones into your computer so we no longer hear the part track on your computer.

7. Sing your part as if you're in a performance.

8. You may record this as many times as you feel necessary, not to exceed 10 recordings.

9. MAKE SURE YOUR AUDIO FILE IS AN MP3 FILE WHEN YOU SUBMIT IT IN THE GOOGLE CLASSROOM.

2. Export the audio into my drive (just press share and drive should be an option as long as you have the google drive app on your phone)

3. Log onto my computer and take the audio file from my drive and export it onto my desktop. (This step is optional but I prefer to do it that way rather than giving the website access to my drive just in case of random issues that could come from the website.)

4. Go to online-audio-converter.com and upload my audio. From there the steps are very straightforward. Just click mp3 and then convert and the website quickly makes the changes for you.

5. Follow the normal process of uploading an item onto google classroom to be submitted.
