All girls and guys need to prepare “And So It Goes” for the March 4th Red Hot callback.

Red Hot Callback: Monday, March 4, 2024

               All - 6:00-7:30 pm

 

The callback session will go from 6-7:30 pm and you must be present in order to be considered for the group.

 

The music and recordings are available on the website at cvchoirs.com. You will find it under the tab, “Callback Information.” I would suggest practicing in quartets before the callback. You may want a jump start on learning “And So It Goes” before the actual callback list is posted.

 

The callback list will be posted by February 23rd on the choir website page.

Prepare measures 1-13 only.

 

I suggest listening to the King Singers version of this piece.

 

All ladies need to prepare both the soprano and alto line and all guys need to prepare the tenor and bass line. I may hear you on both.

 

EVERYONE HAS THE OPTION OF SINGING AN 8 BAR SOLO LINE OF YOUR CHOICE (A CAPPELLA). If you would like to show me a different style that has more runs in it, or is a little more belty/R&B (like Chain of Fools- and it can definitely be Chain of Fools or Etta James, Sam Cooke, Barry White, Luther Vandross, Whitney Houston), I’d love to hear it.

 

 

EVERYONE WILL NEED TO BRING A COMPLETED RED HOT COMMITMENT FORM TO THE AUDITION. THIS FORM IS TO BE SIGNED BY YOU AND YOUR PARENTS.
